Mei "Coma Mei" Coma Berenices

Mei is one of Athena's Saints. He dons the Coma Berenices Cloth, one of the Cloths whose kind is unknown.

Despite being Mitsumasa Kido's firstborn son, he was sent, as all of one hundred Kido's biological children, to train in order to get his own Cloth. His training place was Sicily, the Italian island, where he was to be trained by the Cancer Gold Saint, Deathmask. Even though he survived his training, he didn't return to Japan with his Cloth as other survivors. Instead, he remained in his training site, without obtaining any Cloth.

Later on in the story told in the Saint Seiya: Gigantomachia light novel, Mei obtains his Cloth. It happens to be one of the four fabled armors of the unknown kind, representing the Coma Berenices constellation.
