Makoto Ooe

Makoto is Akira's childhood friend, and runs his own bakery. When Akira shows up on his doorstep after not having seen each other for 20 years, Makoto invites him to stay for as long as he needs. After he is attacked by a monster, Makoto is saved by Akira, who confesses that he is not human and that Makoto is no longer human, either, but a Red Eyes-type of their species.
