Toyoo

Appears in Jasei no In (The Lust of the White Serpent). Toyoo is Takesuke's younger brother. Although he helps his brother with fishing, he can't stand the smell of blood, gets seasick, and is clumsy. He is often ridiculed for his shyness and for preferring to read books. Distraught at the joy of his family at Takesuke's betrothal ceremony, which he is kept away from, Toyoo runs away from home and wakes to find himself at the house of Manago.
