Sode

Appears in Kibitsu no Kama (The Cauldron of Kibitsu). Sode is Shotaro's childhood friend, and works as a prostitute at a brothel that Shotaro frequents. After he is married to Isora, Shotaro ends up spending three months living with Sode, whom he eventually elopes with as well. Once she finds out that she is carrying his child, Sode begins feeling like someone is sitting on her stomach and squeezing her throat. Like Isora, she also grows to hate Shotaro, who finds the pregnancy a bother and wishes to have Sode prostitute herself again to earn money.
