Yatabe is a novelist. Him and Shun attended the same university, were part of the same literature club, and still meet occasionally like friends. Although he seems to take things lightly and enjoys meeting with women, Yatabe has a sharp eye and also suspects Mizorogi of plagiarism, along seeing past his gentlemanly facade.
