Horai is the owner of the compound everyone is living in. To help him escape his troubled home life, he lets Haruto live there for free in exchange for handling all the landlord responsibilities.

Yui works as his secretary, and he helped her find a cheap place to live on the compound while she pays off her gambling debts.
